Inspired by the work of Anke Weiss, an artist who uses recycled packaging to create lamps, by punching dots in different designs.
I tried to make something similar using cereal boxes and candles. I liked making them and the result but i didn't feel it had a gestural quality.
Using a scalpel, I tried again using a more gestural motion and I think it was more successful.
